I am going to just briefly post some examples of Sarah Turner's work here. I think she is making amazing, beautiful, thoughtful work. What I like most about it is exactly what I like most about all my favorite upcycled art--it's difficult to discern the source material.
I am going to write more about her work, but in the context of upcycling in general. There's been a bunch of stuff swirling around in my head for years, but as the term is more widely used, I think it's time to get some of those ideas on virtual paper.
For now, enjoy the beautiful, light-filled repurposing of our collective trash.
