Highest and Best Use: Old National Geographics

This is possibly the ONLY use for old National Geographics. I mean, really, how many penguins and water buffalo can collage artists really need!? Don't get me wrong. I like National Geographic magazines, but they fall into that weird category of stuff that you don't really need, but seem too nice to just relegate to the recycle bin.

It was just a couple years back that I finally convinced my husband to let go of the last of the 3-foot-high stacks that had been living in our closet for the better part of a decade. I know millions of others are torn with what to do with them as well because local thrift store shelves are packed tight with rows of that iconic yellow. How wonderful to think we could just create shelves from them.

This has got to be the most unique thing I've ever seen! Where does this kind of creativity come from?! I certainly don't have any of it. Love your blog...original and fresh. Thanks for sharing.
