RIngs at Millipede

So I stopped by Millipede in The Triangle today. It's the 3rd baby in the Creatures/Hovercraft family for Laura Maxwell and Cory White. I've had some work there and at Creatures for a month or so now and it seems to be a good fit.

Today I was dropping by some new basin rings that I'm excited about. Other than the teeny tiny bit of wire used to rivet the basin to the band, they are made from completely upcycled tin. I also like that they look sort of delicate, but are actually pretty tough and resilient. I know this because I keep dropping them on my concrete floor.

If you haven't had a chance to stop by Millipede yet, it's worth a look. Those of you that know me know that I rarely (never?) buy retail, but this is a shop that makes me want to consider it again. It's a great mix of stuff and they seem to have a nice selection of locally made goods.
