Thrifty Finds--Dynamite

Okay, this was a tidal wave of nostalgia for me when I found it on the magazine exchange rack at the local library.

First of all, I'm sure I had this issue as a kid. Secondly, I had absolutely no memory of Buck Rogers, even though I'm sure I watched it as a kid, until I saw this cover again. A quick wikipedia search scores (of course) a ton of info about the magazine. This is issue number 69 from February 1980. Below are a couple other images from the inside.

These kids are now millionaires running major tech corporations.

If you remember this magazine, I'm willing to bet you loved the Bummers section. Nothing else captured the pre-teen ennui/angst mix of the 5th grade experience quite so beautifully.

No self-respecting magazine would be without a contest! And look at this beauty! State of the art electronics right there. I remember taking one of these along to the beach. I think it got like 2 or 3 different stations. It was awesome.
